From Rhialto:
- Nagas doing direct-shifting without enough room will no longer run away and get booted.
- You can now erase the tutorial sign in your home.
- Tutorial trainers are back to 75gp. It was a bug introduced during cost standardization.
- You can now always see yourself if invisible, even without see-invis.
- “stash all” now works with multiple scabbards. I will not be supporting multiples of other bag types for the foreseeable future, because it’s a lot of work.
- The “skills” command no longer shows skills that have been untrained to 0.
- The Untrainer now tells you your new skill value after untraining.
- Group members’ spells and missiles no longer hurt each other’s summoned monsters.
- Your summoned monsters’ spells no longer hurt your other group members.
- You can no longer drink mana potions if your mana is full.
- This should hopefully circumvent the drink-all-mana-pots bug.
- Various minor tweaks to the tutorial.
- Don’t restart in the tutorial if you have completed it (starts you in your home after that).
- Fixed steal-item attacks to be max 5, and respect the level 35 perk.
- Was only previously set for steal-gold attacks. (Oops!)
- Undid the kalidemon nerfs from last round, as they are in fact very weak if you actually play one.
- The 100 crowns given to brand-new players can no longer be exchanged for gold coins.
- This is to avoid a class of money exploits that have been cropping up.
- Starter crowns can, however, be used for training up to 5 points in a skill, as long as you are level 10 or under. Trainers will give you this option if you have enough starter crowns available.
- Starter crowns are used automatically for QP, vending machines, rez machines, etc. before using any personal crowns, which in turn are used up before account crowns.
- Starter crowns may have other perks later, to help new players get started (and also to make up for not being able to buy gold coins with them.)
- I have not changed any existing players to have starter crowns, largely because it is a lot of work to figure out who legitimately has them. This is only for new players starting with this server patch.
- You can see your starter, personal and account crown balances with “score”.
- Fixed amulet and ring of free action to be full immunity.
- Any junk the shop doesn’t want now gets dropped automatically (from sell all).
- Horn of Plenty now shows charges.
- Made a few spells use reagents in fight arenas: charging, enlarge/shrink armor, bless, curse, create food, enchant armor/weapon, identify, remove curse/damnation
- Made Thunderstorm spell last as long as Dragon Breath.
- Magic whips (from spell) are marked ‘kept’ so the stash command ignores them.
- Autofire should no longer target your summons (needs testing).
- BRMA now respawns you in the arena entrance.
- Armor and weapons now show blessed/cursed status even if not explicitly identified.
- This was mostly so unicorn horns show it, but it’s harmless for other types, as we’re moving away from having unidentified armor/weapons.
- Fixed goose quest feather “can’t save you” problem when your inventory is full.
- It’s possible that I broke a bunch of quests. We’ll see.
- Fixed bug where you could use a resurrection scroll after resurrecting with crowns
