- Thanks to a good suggestion from a player, Paladins no longer bungle a certain set of spells, including cures, dispels, heals, and some odds and ends like light and bless.
- They still bungle resists and their kin (strength, regen), any sort of attack spell, summons, etc. But any spells that are basically support-cleric spells, including group heals, will not bungle.
- I fixed poisonous stings, which affects around a dozen monsters in the game. So things like scorpions and killer bees can now poison you with their attacks. None of their poison is very strong, since I don’t have a way to specify its level yet.
- Enchant spells now use only gems of exactly the necessary value for enchanting
- You can no longer wear quest rewards unless you’ve solved the quest. I’m not taking them away though.
- You can now only wear one at a time of certain items (e.g. shields of arts/power, olympic gold medal)
- Dragon scale mail updates:
- Black dragon mail is now acid immunity (no petri)
- Purple dragon mail: petrification immunity
- Gold dragon mail: non-bungling, +flying, and cloth-like so Monks can wear it
- Silver dragon mail: drain immunity
- Fixed quiver capacity bug for magical quivers
- Artifact machine now lets you ogle items you can’t use
- Made elven arrows cheaper and higher wc
- Made slaying/elemental arrows weaker against non-vulnerable targets
- But made elemental arrow elemental damage stronger
- Cut loss rates in half for all arrow/bolt types
- Got rid of walls in Minath Sky
- Blacksmith 8 now shows armor AC and bonuses. Warning: it’s ugly.
